Crown Cement signs deal with China Energy Engineering Group

M. I. Cement Factory Ltd. (Crown Cement) has signed an agreement with China Energy
Engineering Group Northeast No.1 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., the contractor of
Ashuganj 400 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (East) Project.
Under the deal, Crown Cement will supply “Crown” brand cement to the Ashuganj 400MW
Combined Cycle Power Plant (East) Project.
Engr. A. Majid Chowdhury, Advisor of Crown Cement, and Mr. Liu Sheng, Project Manager of
China Energy Engineering Group Northeast No.1 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., signed
the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the project site in Ghorashal, Narshingdi on
March 5, 2019 [Tuesday].
Wang Siwei, Material Manager of the Chinese firm, and Engr. Adib Uz Zaman Khan, Senior
Manager of Crown Cement, were also present.
