Subodh Kumar Banerjee has been appointed as General Manager (Electrical) & also Acting In-charge (Factory) at Crown Cement PLC since 7 September 2022. He joined Crown Cement Deputy General Manager (Electrical Maintenance & In-charge of Crown Power General Limited) on 16 August 2008. He completed his B.Sc. Engineering in EEE from KUET in 1988 & also enrolled M.Sc. Engineering. in EEE from KUET. Prior to joining Crown Cement Factory Ltd., he worked at BCIC, a government organization. He also served various private sector companies such as Seven Rings Cement, Rahim Steel Mills Limited, Monno Ceramics and Prokoushali Upadeshta Ltd.
Capt. Md. Mohaimanul Hoque graduated from Bangladesh Marine Academy in 1983 and started his sea-going career in the same year with Bangladesh Shipping Corporation. He worked in various capacities on bulk carriers, container and refer ships of different shipping companies in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK and transformed to shore career in 2005 after working at sea for 22 years. Capt. Mohaiman has versatile experiences in shipping including chartering, operation, crew manning, survey, pilotage etc. He joined Crown Cement PLC. in November 2017 as Senior General Manager and currently working as Head of Shipping Department.
Mr. Md. Mozharul Islam was born in the Thakurgaon District in the year 1962. He completed his Graduation (Honours) and Master's in Accounting in the year 1983 and 1984 respectively. He has completed his Chartered Accountancy Course and passed the C. A. Intermediate Examination. He also studied Executive MBA. He also completed Chartered Secretarial Education from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and became a Fellow Member of this Institute. He started his career with United Insurance Company Ltd., a Public Limited Co. listed with the Stock Exchange of Bangladesh and a concern of Duncan Brothers (Bangladesh) Ltd. (which is a 100% British holding in Bangladesh), where finally he worked as the Head of the Finance & Accounts Department and the Company Secretariat Department. He also worked at AB Bank Limited at the rank of Vice President. He Joined Crown Cement PLC. on 15 March 2012 as the Company Secretary and at present, he has been working at the rank of Senior General Manager.
Mohammad Ahasan Ullah, FCA working as Chief Financial Officer in Crown Cement PLC. since 1st August 2021. He also looks after the Credit Management and the VAT & TAX Department of the Company. Mr. Ahasan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. He has completed his M. Com in Accounting. He leads the ERP Implementation for SHUN SHING Edible Oil Ltd. and Beximco Petroleum Ltd. & functional champion/owner of ORACLE EBS Implementation team and coordinator of ORACLE BI Implementation team for SHUN SHING Group Int. Ltd. He has more than 20 years’ of experience in Finance, Accounting & Auditing. Earlier Mr. Ahasan was working as Senior General Manager - Finance & Accounts in Seven Circle (BD) Ltd. He also worked in Beximco Petroleum Ltd. as General Manager - Finance & Accounts; SHUN SHING Group International Ltd. as General Manager- Budget, Reporting, Business Development & Cost Control and SHUN SHING Edible Oil Ltd. as General Manager-Finance & Accounts; AIS/D as Finance Manager; Care Bangladesh as Internal Auditor; Rahman Rahman Huq (KPMG Bangladesh) as Audit Supervisor.
Mr. A B M Yusuf Ali Khan is working as General Manager- Human Resources in Crown Cement PLC. since 01 June, 2016. He possesses 25 years’ professional experience in Human Resources at different National & Multinational Companies. Earlier he was working as Group Head of HR in Doreen Group. Before that, he worked as Principal Specialist (Director in Charge) at CEGIS; as Head of Employee Relations in Novertis (BD) Ltd.; as Factory Administration Manager at Organon Bangladesh Ltd.; as Deputy Manager - Administration at Essential Drugs Company and as Assistant Manager - HR at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Mr. Yusuf has completed his Bachelor Degree from University of Dhaka and MBA from IBA-Dhaka University major in Human Resources. He participated in different overseas training programs, like: M1XP Leading for Results, MTXP & M1 Front Line Leadership Trainings in Switzerland and Management Training Program in Japan. He also was Guest Faculty in Daffodil International University. He became the Jury Board Member of Bangladesh Second Labor Court under Ministry of Labor for the year 2004 and member from Employers side in the Review Committee of the Labor Law 2006 from Employer’s Federation of Bangladesh. He was the Certified Trainer for “Sandoz Academy: First Line Leaders” Program, Co-Trainer with OCTO England, Certified Novertis Emergency Management Trainer. He won the Sandoz Diversity and Inclusion Award during his working in Novertis.
Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque has been working as General Manager- Supply Chain Management since 16 September 2017 in Crown Cement PLC. He possesses 25 years’ professional experience in the field of purchase, IT & System Engineering; he worked as Head of Purchase in LafargeHolcim Bangladesh. He also worked in Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. and Flora Limited. He had completed B.Sc. in EEE from CUET and MBA from North South University. He received Global Sourcing Award from Lafarge Group for Best Savings Action. During his working with LafargeHolcim Bangladesh.
Md. Shahid Ullah Khan, General Manager (Internal Audit) is working in Crown Cement PLC. since 1 March, 2001. He joined the Company as Senior Accounts Executive. He gradually gets promotion with outstanding performance, contribution & dedication towards the company. He is experienced in Internal Auditing and Accounting. Earlier, he worked in The Daily Inqilab and The Quaderia Publications. Mr. Khan completed his B. Com (Hons.) & M. Com in Accounting. He has completed the Chartered Accountancy Intermediate Examination and partly completed the Professional Level. He has completed Masters of Professional Accounting Program from University of Dhaka. He has also obtained the ITP. He is also involved in Employees Provident Fund Committee and Workers’ Profit Participation Fund Committee of Crown Cement PLC.
Mr. Noman Ashrafee Rahman has been working as General Manager – Brand & Marketing Department in Crown Cement PLC. since 1st July,2021. He also looks after Research & Planning Department. Mr. Noman has more than 12 years’ experience in Brand, Marketing & Sales. Earlier, he worked as Head of Decorative Brands in Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. He also worked in Brand and Sales Department of Transcom Beverages Limited and Mobil Jamuna Lubricants Limited. He has completed B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) from IUT (Islamic University of Technology) and MBA from IBA, Dhaka University major in Marketing. He got scholarship from OIC during his studying in IUT. Mr. Noman introduce Health & Hygiene Category as business diversification and transform digital ecosystem & stakeholder engagement, lead to launching new products and services, develop TVC during his earlier jobs. He has been awarded Highest Growth and Highest Sales Achiever in his previous jobs.
Md. Mashiur Rahman Russel is now working as General Manager-Sales in Crown Cement PLC. He joined Crown Cement PLC. in 15 November, 2014. He has completed Professional Master of Business Administration from IRM (International Resource Management). Md. Mashiur has over 25 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Customer Care. He has worked in Holcim Cement Bangladesh Ltd. (HBL), NetiGen Bangladesh Ltd. And Brothers Corporation. He won Best Seller award.
Mohd. Solaiman Moral who is an experienced marketing & sales professional currently working as the General Manager. He is working in Crown Cement PLC since November, 2002. Presently he looks after Corporate & Export Sales, Distribution, Technical Support & LIP. He is an Ex-Notredamian and completed his Graduation (Honors) & Masters in Political Science in the year 1997 & 1998 respectively. He has also completed his MBA (Marketing) from Stamford University Bangladesh. Apart from academic study he took part in different training programs related to marketing, sales, customer support, strategic management etc.
